The Claremont Colleges

The Claremont Colleges Library is the central academic resource of The Claremont Colleges, a consortium of seven institutions: five undergraduate colleges (Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Pomona, and Scripps) and two graduate institutions (Claremont Graduate University and Keck Graduate Institute). The consortium dates back to 1925 when Claremont Graduate University was founded in partnership with Pomona College.

A young black named Jefferson is a reluctant party in a shoot-out in a liquor store in which the three other men involved are all killed, including the white store owner. Jefferson, the only survivor, is accused of murder. At the trial, the essence of the...

"All About Love is a blueprint for finding myriad types of love, which hold...

Growing up on these tough streets the two girls learn to rely on each other ahead of anyone or anything else. As they grow, as their paths repeatedly diverge and converge, Elena and Lila remain best friends whose respective destinies are reflected and refracted in the other. They are likewise the embodiments of a nation undergoing momentous change. Through the lives of these two women, Ferrante tells...
